All our Campers are VW Custom Campers. With it’s iconic pop-top roof, your Camper is transformed into a liveable area with added headroom for cooking, dancing or any number of tasks that require that extra bit of space, as well as a mezzanine-like area for sleeping.

 For that little bit of extra room choose a Gorilla our Long Wheel Base Camper, at £10 a day extra.

Frequently Asked Questions

What about insurance?

The price includes insurance for one driver, 21-75, full clean UK driving licence. If you are aged 21-23 we will require further information prior to booking. Additional driver insurance, insurance for drivers with points, non UK drivers can be provided (there is an additional charge for this). The driver will need to visit the DVLA website and follow the instructions in order to get the DVLA code to be sent to hello@campertribe.co.uk before delivery.

Minimum hire period?

• 2 days: Jan – Feb
• 3 days: March – June
• 7 days: July – August
• 3 days: Sept – November
• 2 days: December

Can I smoke in the campervan?

All our camper vans are no smoking.

Are pets allowed?

Yes pet’s are allowed but there is a £50 Valeting Charge as standard.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept both debit and credit cards (with the exception of American Express).

Can I go outside the UK?

We are more than happy for you to take your tribe to the EU. There is a small additional charge of just £15.00 per day.

What do you need before we start our adventure?

1. DVLA Licence Check Code (UK license only)

Are there Toilet and Shower Facilities on board the Camper Van?

Our Campers do not come equipped with Toilet or Shower Facilities on board, you would need access these at your campsite.

What about the rental vehicles – What if the previous users had Covid-19?

Here at Camper Tribe, we have a set cleaning protocol that all of our fully trained staff follow. All of our vehicles are thoroughly cleaned inside and out in between each rental.

The mattress is santitsied between each rental and has a new mattress protector replaced for every new hire. Our cleaners wear protective gear including masks and gloves to make sure no traces are left behind. We also provide cleaning sprays for each rental to keep the vans as clean as possible whilst you’re away.

Will the handover be safe?

Your safety is our main concern, so we have set a few rules to make the handover risk-free for everyone. Staff will be wearing a mask at all times – we suggest you do the same!

All documents and keys will be exchanged without any physical contact, and we will keep a 1m distance from you at all times.

You can even have your vehicle delivered and picked up again from your home (charges apply) meaning that you are literally moving directly from your home bubble to your new bubble on wheels and nowhere else. This service can be selected at checkout.

Can I try before I buy?
